TIME FOR A REST

Standing up side down

You are safe near the wall. Kick up with left leg. Then try right leg. Hands nicely parallel. Good luck.

Very simple kick your legs up, start with left, then right… go ahead and kick like a donkey, horse ….

Strength and balance

Play with putting your knees on your elbows…. Just try, one and then two… the lift one foot off. It is all about balance.

Time for a turn-around – Light is coming.

Come to plank on you hands. Lift one arm and turn around on to your back. Turning the back to the ground now and fingers pointing towards your feet. Turn Again. And then the other way back. Fun and challenging.

We are at the turning point, light starts to come back now. Enjoy every minute of new light.

Table top? Crab? Ski hill? What are you?

Sit down with your knees bent or straight. Turn your fingers in direction of your feet NOT back. Exhale. As you inhale lift you hips. Exhale and lower. Repeat three times with a stable breath.

Time for a side stretch – Reach for the toes.

Sit up right with the legs out to the sides, any distance is good. Exhale. Inhale and lift your arms. Exhale as you turn your body towards the right but lower down to the left. Take hold of you foot or just some where on your leg. Finish the exhale and start your inhale and lift up the same way and back. Repeat to the right and finish in the middle. One cycle done.

Rock like a boat. Sound like a harp.

Lie flat on your belly. Take hold of your ancles. Make sure the thumbs reach around the ancle from the inside of the leg – this protects your shoulders. Exhale and lift on the inhale. Relax and let go slowly and repeat.

Fly off like a cracker

Lie flat on the belly and exhale deeply. Lift your torso as high as possible and comfortable but keep the hips on the floor. Syncronize your breath to the movement and repeat.
